The brand was founded by two sisters Carol and Sarah Piron in Belgium in 2010, which is a very positive brand. Later, photographer Gregory Denke joined in, bringing unique aesthetic vision to the brand.
A heady, Summer of Love vibe infiltrated this latest Filles à Papa collection, with its flower-power embroideries and subversive power suits. Carol Piron, who oversees the label with her sister, Sarah, said this theme dovetailed with their irreverent approach and allowed them to build upon the luxe streetwear that they do—and wear—best. Dressed in electric blue flared trousers and a tailored black vest spliced with a spider web of strass, she had the look of someone either headlining a music festival.
The Filles A Papa brand was founded in 2012 in Liège, Belgium by sisters Carol Piron and Sarah Piron. Liege is not a Belgian fashion center, with a population of only about 200,000. Subsequently, fashion photographer Gregory Derkenne, also from Liege, joined the team. He possesses excellent aesthetic knowledge and brings a unique aesthetic vision to convey the spirit of the brand. Since then, the original duo has become a trio.
